Our comprehensive list of services include:

  • Neurological and musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Between the three physiotherapists, Kellie, Katy and Claire, we have extensive specialist skills, including Bobath techniques, myofascial release and acupuncture.

  • Use of exercise equipment eg electric assistive arm and leg bike, weights, resistance bands, balance/rocker boards.

  • Set up with low frequency muscle stimulation in preparation for home use.

  • Orthotics for provision of bespoke and advice on “off the shelf” supports, splints and braces, eg specialist shoe insoles (functional foot orthoses), foot drop splints, shoulder and hand braces, back braces. Andy Budgen can assess you, either with your physiotherapist present or on his own, and advise on what you require. He will measure you for your device and then send it off to be made. Another appointment is then required for fitting and adjustments.

  • Acupuncture for the treatment of pain and muscle tension/spasm

  • Yoga. Claire and Yvette see patients who have been receiving physiotherapy and are ready to move on to a more independent exercise/stretching/movement approach. This can be carried out in sitting as chair yoga or in standing or lying. Our aim is to give patients the confidence to be able to attend a community yoga class or practise independently at home. All sessions are one to one in the clinic and equipment is provided.

  • Liaison with outside services and health care professionals eg GP, hospital consultant, NHS orthotics, hydrotherapy.
